Desiderata HW due 2/9/19

Read the poem “Desiderata” by Max Ehrmann three times.

1) After the first reading, answer: What is the poem about? What is the central idea of the poem?

2) After the second reading, answer: What is one poetic technique used in the poem? How is it used? How does this poetic technique show the central idea?

3) After the third reading, answer: Why do you think Ehrmann wrote the poem? What does the poem have to do with our unit of “Otherness”?
